Design

How much to design a new website?
Our design costs start at $A 2,500. The average cost for the websites on our portfolio page is between $A 4,000 and $A 6,000. See below for eCommerce site costs.

How long will my corporate website take to design?
We can have your new business website ‘live’ within 14 days of you providing us all your content ie: instructions, images, text etc.

How long will my eCommerce website take to design & program?
A minimum of 45 days from the time you provide us all your content ie: instructions, images, text, product information, product attributes (ie: colours, sizes, styles, shipping information etc.

Meetings

Can you send someone around to visit me to talk about my website?
No, we don’t employ sales staff.

Can I come and see you?
No. All web design briefs are taken either over the phone, via email or via Skype chat/voice or video

Who will I be dealing with?
You will always deal direct with our managing director, so that there is never any issue with the wrong brief getting to the designer ie: we don’t have sales people not briefing the project manager properly – or the project manager not briefing the designer correctly etc. You always have 1 point of contact only.

SEO

How much to do SEO?
How long is a piece of string? Costs will depend on your expectations ie: are your potential customers just in your city, or do you expect to reach potential customers all across your state – or the whole country – or Worldwide?

What is the starting cost?
Our Google SEO prices start at around $1800. The amount you spend will depend on your level of expectation, market area and industry competition. The average cost for website optimisation for clients featured on this page > SEO Case Studies – is around $5,000

The average cost for optimisation is around $A 5,000 for competitive markets based around local searches ie: ‘Landscaping Perth’ etc – but you should be prepared to commit to an ongoing SEO Maintenance package as well to keep you ahead of the competition.

How much to target customers Australia wide with SEO?
You should expect to pay $10,000 to start, and then a monthly SEO fee if you want to rank in the top of the front page of the Google organic search results – for all your main keywords.

How much website traffic does your biggest client get?
Over 2 million visitors per month.

Does it depend on what industry my business is in?
Yes, available traffic and SEO costs will also depend on your type of industry, and how stiff your competition is.

Can I rank high in Google with a 5 page website?
No. To rank highly in Google you would need to have a website with lots of pages – approx 30 – 50 at a minimum, otherwise you would find it very hard to rank anywhere. We take care of all this for you and is included in our costs.

Do I pay per click?
No. That is Google AdWords marketing, (or generically known as Pay-Per-Click positioning). Our specialty is Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) which is by far – the most cost effective, long term marketing strategy for your website.

eCommerce

Will I own my whole eCommerce site when you are finished?
Yes, once payment is completed you will own the whole front & back-end.

How much do your eCommerce websites cost?
Our eCommerce sites start around $A 8,000.

Why are some of my eCommerce web design quotes cheaper?
Many web designers quoting eCommerce actually retain the ownership of the back-end of your website.

What are ‘eCommerce hosted solutions’?
This is where a 3rd party (such as ‘shopify’) actually own the back-end and you just pay a monthly ‘rent’ for it. This is a cheap solution to setup but not worth doing if you plan on being successful in the long term – or if you want to sell the business to someone in the future. You will not actually own anything, other than a couple of the front web pages – at the most!

Web Hosting

What country will my site be hosted in?
Australia. Our hosting servers are all located in Australia. This is essential for businesses with Australian customers to reduce website ‘latency’ (slow web page loading).

Will I have complete access to my site?
Yes. Our hosting services include full access to your whole website, including FTP & cPanel access.

How many email addresses can I have?
Unlimited.

Can I create them myself?
Yes.

Is the website data backed up?
All our hosting has Continuous Data Protection (CDP). It is not backed up daily, weekly or monthly. It is continuous.

Payment

When do we pay?

Web Design
Deposit: 50% – Prior to commencement of Design work
Balance: 50% – Prior to upload of ‘live’ site

Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)
Deposit: 50% – Prior to commencement of SEO work
Balance: 50% – 30 days after commencement of SEO work

Web Hosting
Upon invoice, usually 14 days from the time the server is setup and then annually after that.
